About The Role

We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer for our new team in the New York, NY office! Direct, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering project within area of assigned responsibility.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist Senior Engineer, and leads as EOR when assigned, with planning the layout of a project and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval. 
  • Coordinate with other fields and participation in Project Meetings (internal and external). 
  • Prepare and own the preparation of scaled drawings, contract documents and specifications for building contractors. 
  • Assists with the maintenance of Engineering Standards. 
  • Performs construction administration duties and conducts periodic on-site observation of work during construction to compliance with plans. 
  • Lead field work (Verification, Assessments) for projects and clients. 
  • Guide designers how to use calculation software. 
  • Assist with coordinating tasks for designers. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and strong customer support. 
  • Knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts financial analysis. 
  • Comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. 
  • Intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

What You’ll Need

Qualifications 

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical mentorship, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and coordinate assignments of lower level employees.

EDUCATION And EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S. or B.A.) from four-year college or university (ABET Accredited) and five or more years related experience and/or training.
  • Must be BIM (REVIT) experience.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES 

  • Professional Engineering License PE in the United States 

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Electrical Engineer position is $110,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $135,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
