The candidate will assist in the design of electrical installations for commercial aircraft galleys.
This is a hybrid position that requires on-site presence three days a week.

This job is specifically responsible for:
- Creating, leading, and developing a team of Electrical Design Engineers with the necessary skill set to deliver the engineering solution
- Providing technical direction and leadership to the team
- Work Breakdown Structure definition, delegation, and reporting
- Organizing and taking part in Design Reviews at all stages of the New Product Introduction process. Ensure that all relevant follow-up measures are taken by organizing and performing Design & Technical reviews and ensuring that suitable risk-mitigation actions are taken.
- Collaboration with the certification, stress, and airworthiness departments to guarantee that the design solution meets all standards.
- Maintaining the engineering quality and integrity of their job package's output
- Leading and coordinating the Electrical Design input at all client meetings, including the Initial Technical Coordination Meeting, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, First Article Inspection, and Programme Reviews.
- Cost and weight goals must be tracked, controlled, and met.
- Team leaders must interact effectively and professionally with customers and suppliers, as well as coordinate data transfer.
- Selection and application of appropriate materials and procedures for each design element, as well as help to other team members
- Assuring the successful integration of each design element with the overall product
- Following and helping to establish the Best Practice guidelines as outlined in documentation
- Checking engineering packages and obtaining Authorised Signatory certification for their area of competence where possible
